Maryam Jarrahian, Principal Designer

As a curious, young enthusiast with an inventive eye, Maryam Jarrahian Badshah is an interior designer from ISDI (affiliated with the Parsons, New York). With an artistic taste and a keen eye for detail, she has been a strong pillar for some of the most sought after design projects like The Adani House (Gujarat), The Sen’s House (Mumbai), The Bombay Bar (Mumbai), Bar Stock Exchange (Lucknow), Oye Kake (multiple outlets, Mumbai). She is a versatile artist with a niche for tasteful creations and sustainability.

As a student she worked under abled mentors like Vistasp Kharas and Saniya Kantawala, who she also joined full time after her fulfilling stint with JSW Realty. She carries with her rich experiences of working a healthy balance of residential and commercial projects, allowing for well-rounded exposure.

She is a vivacious young creator, whose understanding of interior design is founded on a solid combination of art, science and psychology.

MJ Design Studio is a culmination of all these experiences, and the itch of curiosity. At MJ Design Studio,  interior designing is more than adding aesthetics to a space. It is about carving personalities and giving identities to what would otherwise be just a room, albeit sustainably.
